Artist's Comments

Here is another view of the Hooker County storm in northern Nebraska, a little later and further east in its life.

By this time it had developed a little shelf cloud along its southern edge, but it still looked impressive and had a nice smooth base otherwise.

Nice mushroom bottom on that! Did it get enough rotation for tornadoes?
:iconbucky2k:
No... it only had a severe thunderstorm warning. There was some rotation on radar, but it was spread out and not that strong.

Yeah, I hear you. Luckily Tuesday we'll be in a slight risk area, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Did you chase Tuesday? We headed out Monday but I only got a few pics. Hoping Saturday yields some good stuff!

No, I didn't. I headed out to Nebraska on Friday with some friends. Drove 700 miles out north of Sidney, and then I crashed my car. Luckily we were all okay, but I think it's totaled. Cool storms though.
