I copied the title of this deviation from Amos Magliocco's storm chasing DVD, "Meso Road." That video is hilarious, and is really exciting with some great storm footage from 2004.

This low-precipitaion storm churned away in the same place for hours before and after this picture. It never did become severe, but it was entertaining to watch it try.

Photoshop CS2 was used.

Yup, I only played around with curves and saturation, and of course I removed the dust specks that are stuck on my camera's CCD.

If only there had been more moisture in this area, this thing may have gone one to produce a tornado. What a photo THAT would have been. There's always next year...
